Community Standards

Staff Track Marketplace is a platform for property owners to post jobs and connect with verified tradespeople. These standards apply to everyone who posts a job, submits a quote, writes a review, uploads photos, or messages another user on the Marketplace. By using the Marketplace you agree to follow these rules.

What is not allowed

Objectionable content. Pornography, sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that targets a group based on race, religion, gender, orientation, disability, or nationality.
Illegal services. Any request or offer for work that would be illegal to perform — uncertified gas work, unlicensed electrical work that requires a registered installer, or anything that would violate local building regulations.
Scams, fraud, and misrepresentation. Fake jobs, fake reviews, fake credentials, impersonation of another person or business, or attempts to harvest contact details without genuine intent to hire.
Off-platform payment coercion. Attempting to pressure the other party into bypassing the Marketplace connection fee. Both sides must transact honestly through the platform for first-time introductions.
Spam. Repeated duplicate job listings, unsolicited advertising in quotes or messages, or links to unrelated external services.
Private information about others. Do not post another person's phone number, address, ID, financial details, or any information about minors.

How we enforce these rules

Every job listing, tradesman profile, quote, review, and photo on the Marketplace can be reported directly from within the iOS app or web marketplace. Tap the … menu on any piece of content, choose Report, pick a reason, and optionally add detail.

When a report is submitted:

Our moderation team receives the report immediately.
We aim to review every report and, where the content violates these standards, remove it within 24 hours.
Content that has been reported 3 or more times by different users is automatically hidden pending review, so it stops being visible while we investigate.
We contact the person who posted the content if further information is required, and — for severe or repeated violations — close their account.

Blocking another user

Posters can block a tradesman's company from seeing their jobs or messaging them. Tradesmen can block a poster from their job feed. Once blocked, neither party will see the other's jobs, quotes, or profile anywhere on the Marketplace.

Account suspension & termination

We suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these standards. Suspension is usually temporary while we review evidence; a pattern of violations or a single severe violation (threats, fraud, illegal work) results in permanent removal. You may appeal a decision by emailing admin@staff-track.com with the subject line “Moderation appeal”.

Deleting your data

You can delete your Marketplace account directly from the app (Account → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your profile, your jobs, and your quotes. Reviews you wrote are anonymised so the tradesman's overall rating stays fair, but the review text is retained as public feedback on the service they received.
